1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Email address and profile information when you sign up
• Content Data: Uploaded videos and images, captions, publishing settings, schedules, and publishing history
• Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the Service
• Connected Accounts: Authorized account details, access credentials, posts, and available analytics from TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
• Billing: Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, subscription status, and billing period dates. Stripe processes payment details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve our Service
• Schedule approved posts and display account analytics
• Enable publishing to connected social media accounts
• Send important updates about the Service
• Analyze usage patterns to improve user experience

Google and YouTube Data

PostGuru uses YouTube API Services when you connect a YouTube channel. With your authorization, we access channel details, video metadata, available YouTube-reported statistics, watch time, audience retention, traffic-source reports, and access credentials. We use this information to display your connected channel's posts and analytics and to upload videos you supply and approve.

We share Google user data with service providers as needed to operate these features, or for security and legal requirements. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. PostGuru's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Detailed YouTube Analytics reports are requested when you open them and displayed in your workspace. These report rows are not saved by PostGuru.

Google's handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

You can disconnect a channel from Accounts in PostGuru. Disconnecting stops new synchronization and publishing for that connection, removes its imported posts and analytics, and starts revocation of its Google access credentials. If Google is temporarily unavailable, the connection stays inactive while we retry revocation. You can also revoke PostGuru's access through your Google account security settings.

For questions about Google or YouTube data, or to request deletion of stored data, email postguru-support@googlegroups.com. After we verify a deletion request, we delete stored Google and YouTube data within seven days, unless the law requires us to keep it. Removing data from PostGuru does not remove videos already uploaded to YouTube. You can manage those videos in YouTube Studio.

3. Information Sharing

We share your information with:

• Social Platforms: The accounts you connect, to read authorized analytics and publish content you approve
• Stripe: To process subscriptions and provide the billing portal
• Service Providers: Vercel for hosting and media storage, Clerk for authentication, and our database provider
• Studio Providers: Owner Studio features can also use image and AI providers. These features are separate from the paid publishing beta.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Storage and Security

Access to workspace records requires authentication. Uploaded videos are stored at unlisted links so the platforms you choose can fetch them when you approve publishing. Connected-account credentials are restricted to authorized server operations.

Unused and completed-post uploads become eligible for cleanup after 30 days. Videos needed for unresolved publishing attempts remain available for recovery. Removing a video does not delete copies already published to a social platform. YouTube metadata is refreshed or cleared within its 30-day refresh window; disconnecting a YouTube account removes its stored analytics and starts access revocation.

• Withdraw consent at any time

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We may use analytics cookies to understand how users interact with our Service. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

For privacy questions, workspace export, or deletion requests, email postguru-support@googlegroups.com. You can disconnect social accounts in the application. Workspace deletion and export requests are handled by support during the beta.
